Handbooks

We produce handbooks for tenants and owners and new residents should receive a copy when moving in. They are designed to help residents get the most out of their new home and to make them aware of Hanover's responsibilities and residents' responsibilities as a tenant or owner.

Residents' newsletters

We produce a quarterly newsletter for our tenants called Hanover Today, and a twice-yearly newsletter for owners called The Owner Occupier. We encourage residents to send in information that may be of interest to other readers.

We also keep a limited number of back issues of previous newsletters. Please contact our head office if you would like copies.

Tenant Participation

We actively encourage our tenants to take part in the running of Hanover through the formation of Registered Tenant Organisations and a Register of Interested Tenants. These groups can then take part in regular focus group meetings.

Strategic Return on Investment Report

The Strategic Return on Investment (SROI) Reports are published jointly by Hanover, Bield and Trust Housing Associations.  The reports make a compelling case for adaptations, demonstrating the benefits of various models including very sheltered housing, and highlighting significant cost savings for the Scottish Government through these activities.
