"I used Hanover Telecare once, and they got help so quickly. My head was dizzy and I needed to go into hospital. I called them and they got an ambulance very quickly."
- Hanover Telecare user
Lifeline is available to everyone, and at the moment there are over 1000 connected households. Each user is connected to Hanover Telecare through use of a neck pendant and/or panic button, and a central unit connected to their telephone.
When the button is pressed, an alarm notifies our highly trained team of staff at our Telecare Centre in Edinburgh, who will be able to access the details of the person calling at the touch of a button. The details can include next of kin, doctor's details, any special illness they may have, or the telephone number of the nearest neighbour.
Hanover Telecare staff can then contact the most appropriate person.
Lifeline can also be used as a support system for people at risk of domestic violence. An alarm is linked directly to Hanover Telecare, who can then contact the police or key holders. Like all of Hanover Telecare’s products, this system can be installed in as little as four hours.
